Hi everyone this piece was commissioned on a expedited basis needed in under two weeks. I was able to do get this work done with 3 preliminary sketches and several hours in digital painted 12 hours were spent on this work. It included 

2 framed matted pieces of the art work with all rights to the original commissions

I Dvd containing high resolution  11×15 8×10 the sketches the art as it progressed a poster of the worker along with the original sketches.

Just to keep you all updated a gallery site map is being created as we speak. This will feature my oils, watercolors, soft pastels, Digital fine art, Html websites, all together there will be probably another 50 to 100 more pictures of my best work along with more interactive pages. I’m also planning on putting video painting and drawing lessons on here and you tube. I am also in the process of putting of excerpts of my novel, along with whole short works of fiction. Well I’ve been lucky enough to get a new commission yesterday I have a lot of artistic license on this one. My Pastors wife Jill commissioned a picture of the pieta by Michaelangelo (shown) worked with low opacity flames symbolizing the price that was paid for us all. I’m going to put this one up as soon as its done. I’ve just gotten done with a new gallery site map featuring a lot more of my work broken into categories.(shown). This will have Oils Watercolors, graphic design, prints, web design, so now that the template is made It will be about two weeks to edit all the photos of the art work going up, which is a rather involved process.
On another great note I’m graduating from school unfortunately I will not be able to attend the SAIC 50k a year is just to steep It was a great moment being accepted though. I will also be going into a certificate program to be an MRI technician in which there is decent money to be made while building this art business. Having the degree and the certification will be great on my resume adding to my list of careers of everything from professional musician, CNC programer, Chef, Writer,(still working on the novel, and cannot count being a pro until I get a check for it), and artist. Well that was a mouthful.
The site is doing well with more hits per month than ever. More hits on the site equals more commissioned pieces. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Pieta

I started my morning with the dropping off of the kids and my coffee. I then went to School to pick up my piece from school(I will post it). While looking at the programs I noticed ,not only was one of my more inspirational teachers there,(Natalie Colleta), but CCRI is offering the last class I need to graduate during their summer sessions. I’m also thinking about getting an MRI cert because I’ll only have to take four classes I have the rest already. I’ll always try to be practical. I’m so psyched to finally have my degree. the rest of my day consisted of working out and photographing some art work. I hope everyone is great out there.

I’ve just added a flickr feed to the blog along with links to my home page while finally getting around to update to wp 2.71. Iam  a Rhode Island artist based just out of Providence. This thursday night is the student gallery show for CCRI It on the forth floor and a couple of my piece will be in it two or three exciting painting one combine painting a modern tryptic with this crazy clock in it and My hope that anyone reading this will come.
